5.0 mi @ 16 mph med resist, weights, .6 mi walk

Tracfone time expires tomorrow, got a new card for it, they were out of $20/60 min cards 2 places we went looking. Discovered the parking garage does have an elevator. Yay. Was running a little behind this morning, but got to work on time easily, had multiple meetings today. One for training refresh, one team meeting. Despite the migraine and stress form wif auto accident yesterday still got 100 on one call and 94 something on another. Felt much better today, even tho I got a 6:58 call that ran over a little bit. A teeny fraction of OT for me, woohoo. Picking up the girls and dropping them off until the wif's back gets better. Did finally get my last 1/2 unemployment check. May pawn that off on the wif to take care of depositing. She picked up stuff for BR's b-day party tonite. Also sent an email to the FNF people for stuff, including the last meeting they never paid me for, and the conditions of any future calls (since I gotta get up an hour early!). Check a couple things and off to bed for me, finally.

5.0 mi @ 16 mph med low resist, weights, .6 mi walk

Had a headache when I got up, walking out the door with MG and call about wif having auto accident, got rear ended. Strained back and neck so far, drivable crinkled bumper/trunk lid.

So. Anyhow. Intellectually I can process the equation of "not badly hurt", "not costing us money" and "car can still be driven", etc. Emotionally, I cannot make the math work. I'm just sooooooooooooo tired of having to pretend to look on "the bright side" of things. Sure, I have 2 out of the 3 kids I'm supposed to. Sure I live in a rich country blah blah blah.

Gratitude consists of being more aware of what you have, than what you don’t.

And I royally suck at it, so I'm aware of my lack in that area too. I suppose I should look on the bright side of being to intellectually process it at least. Can I at least have some not having to look for the silver linings? Maybe some days here and there without clouds...

After a break last week for leg cramp and associated soreness, back on the bike 5.0 mi @ 16 mph, med? resist, weights, .6 mi walking

Today was busy (as they say all post-holiday mondays are) but was not as bad as I thought it would be. Getting some feedback on my calls now, 90's and 100's - better than frankly I really expected. Hopefully I can build up from that point, without and big dips. We'll see. I still feel ignorant as all get out tho. I guess I'll have to learn as best I can, and learn to deal with my incomplete knowledge. Hopefully no work related nightmares tonite...

MG Saying Merry Christmas

Long long long day at work took calls for 4 hours. 1st half I just wanted to run away... 2nd half started from there and got better. Can't think half the time. Hot flashes go with mental pause too... I actually felt nauseous for a little bit this afternoon. Exhausting.

5.0 mi @ 16 mph, had to tape resistance knob, 20 mins walking and weights

Got 100 on my midterm, oops on instructions for taking calls on the floor. Systems went down a little bit, fun. Yesterday had a brain lapse on the "cobra" system. Had a potluck lunch today. Brain needs a day or 2 off. Keep nodding off early every nite... Traffic was good on 65 and got my first paycheck, woo.

5.0 mi @ 16 mph - min resist, 20+ min walking. Cut out 2.5 miles to try to beat traffic. And traffic was fine. Grr.

Speaking of grr, still statistically high amounts of baby talk. Alas. Still doing training exercises - no phones atm, probably tomorrow tho. Guess if so I'll try talking and pc at the same time. Oy.

Again with the GRR, stupid Rumpke moron left trash in BOTH cans this time. One more time, and I either get $$ or another pickup company. This is the 4th time in recent memory.

Looks like the homeless person/people are doing some remodeling. I can't quite identify what yet tho, it might be a cardboard wind shield...

Got my return receipt for my cash balance distribution, so I gotta send off the balance of my rollover IRA paperwork. I'm thinking 50% money market US and 50% same in Euros. I doubt they have a hard gold asset fund available, although I'd love some short term inflation protection.

Anxious to see what my paycheck will look like...

7.5 mi @ 16 mph - minimal resist, weights. No walking (off work). May have to back down on mileage for resistance, depending on how my legs react. Seem to be staying below 200lbs now. So maybe I am losing more weight than gaining muscle, don't really know. Not sure I care that much, as long as I can catch the mini-me's.

Wif asked MG something to the effect can you say hi to bubby yesterday, and she said "Hi bubby", she'd previously observed the star balloons and commented on those. Gonna switch to fall colored stuff today, pack up the old stuff and put it in the pile of flowers. Not sure how long we'll do the Christmas theme this year. At least the orange roses are out, I wonder how long they'll last before wilting. Had to sit a while with the girls at the graveyard waiting for wif, MG got antsy, at one point was doing a papaw/papoo combo, which is weird when you're next to the grave of the "real" gpa on the wif's side.

Think I gonna do oil change and more chimney painting today, almost warm enough, so I'll go do the flowers and then move on to that. Got to sleep in until 7:45 today oooo. Seem to be collapsing from exhaustion lately... maybe once I'm out of training I'll be a bit less tired. It'll be weird to miss traffic once I go to my normal hours tho...

7.5 mi @ 16 mph 0 resist, weights, 20+ min walk

Did some more practice in logging system calls, sat with another preceptor and let them talk while I operated the phone and PC. Then I talked a little bit while she did pc/phone. Not a bd day at all, the girls went out shoppin. I had to move trees out of the driveway, I guess when they bush hogged the driveway, they were going back out and didn't see they were mucking up things a bit. Sigh. Good thing I had the crappy shoes on. Traffic was pretty light tonite, only took an hour to get home. Maybe I'll get lotsa sleep again tonite.

7.5 mi @ 16 mph 0 resist, weights. 20+ mins walking

Learned some about the terminal screens at work, and took a couple more calls. Every time I precept I come up with more things I want to study up on. It'll take a bit before I am comfy with the information balance to give out to providers. It's interesting to listen to all the different caller types. I'm thinking about hunting up a 2 ear headset or possibly getting an ear plug for the "free" ear. Preceptor said my tone/voice was fine. Still want a little more practice on the various screens before I attempt to "drive" on a call.

The empty lot near work with the homeless person might have 2 people now, couldn't tell for sure. I can at least tell when 1 person is there because the bedding has shoes sticking out of them in the mornings, and the afternoons they're apparently out and about.

Took some trash to the road this morning, they actually took it all for a change, but they left one can partially on the pavement a little bit. I don't think there was enough wind today to blow it around.

Put a coat in the car for emergencies, still feel warm once I get into work. Everyone else is into jackets already. It's a little nippy in the mornings, but since I'm walking it isn't too bad. Maybe should get a light windbreaker. The backpack actually helps a little. Still need to look for something to put on my shoes when it's icy.

Me and my headache are gonna rest now...

5.0 mi @ 16 mph 0 resist, weights, 20 min walkin +10 more?

MG feeling a little better today, but still not eating right, hopefully once she starts feeling better her appetite will improve.

Took my first few calls at work today. Need to work on my initial call checklist. Was too focused on the bene side, providers will be a large portion of my calls. My preceptor was good again, helped me whenever I started stumbling thru the call a bit. Got to go to the All Associates meeting, and hear our CEO speak (live). He played straight man to the humorous interlude. Was interesting, focused on branding and a few other items.

Hoping to get into bed at a decent hour tonite!

7.5 mi @ 16 mph 0 resist, weights. And that 20+ mins of walkin.

Woke from a dream about a conflict that had started conventional (cruise missiles) but shortly upgraded to nukes (duck n cover!) and cryllic text on the cartoon network. Weird.

MG had an ER visit, diar, cough, fever (102). Not swine, ears. Kept trying to play with the plumbing. HATED the blood ox sensors.

Work ok, missed 1 question, but wasn't referenced in any of our materials that I could find... meh. I added it. Preceptor D was good, flew thru the screens as expected, knew lots of little windows tricks and other things. Got some decent notes out of it. Found out my employer owns the garage I use. Interesting.

Updated 2 of 3 credit protection people, one hadn't processed so gonna wait until they do before I update the other bit. Gonna also take care of the Cash Balance prog from Landam, roll it over before they stop lump distros again. Have to get spousal consent notarized. Fun fun fun.

Ok, pills, papers and bedtime for bonzo.

Yeesh!
